  Unreal Ale - 23 litres
We, at Coopers, are renown worldwide for our fine ales. This easy recipe gives the home brewer the opportunity to make an ale with real character.
Ingredients
• 1.7kg Coopers Real Ale
• 1kg Coopers Brew Enhancer 1
• 500g Coopers Light Dry Malt
Method
1. Dissolve Coopers Real Ale, Brew Enhancer 1 and Light Dry Malt in 3 litres of hot water.
2. Fill fermenter with cool water to the 23 litre mark and stir.
3. Sprinkle supplied yeast over the wort surface.
4. Ferment temperature should be in the range 21C-27C.
5. Bottle when specific gravity has reached 1.012 (or two readings the same over 24 hours).
Wheat Beer - 23 litres
A pale, cloudy beer, refreshingly spritzy and tart with a delicious creamy frothiness.
Developed to be mixed with 500g Light Dry Malt and 300g Dextrose.
Ingredients
• 1.7kg can Thomas Coopers Wheat Beer
• 500g Light Dry Malt
• 300g Dextrose
Method
• Place the Light Dry Malt in a sanitised, well drained fermenter. Add 2 litres of hot water and immediately pick the fermenter up and swirl the contents until dissolved (about 15 secs) - this avoids lumps.
• Add the balance of ingredients and dissolve.
• Add cool water to the 23 litre mark and stir vigorously.
• Sprinkle yeast and seal.
